Proper Planning

Slow Start

Slow Start

Planning ahead is essential for success, especially in a free-for-all Easter egg hunt.  You need to have a plan, a strategy, you can’t go in there and wing it.  Ad-libbing won’t cut it in the mad rush of five year olds, everyone leaving their manners behind, trying to get the eggs with the prize inside.  This lad must have had a plan because he wasn’t very quick off the starting line.  In fact, kids were grabbing their first egg before he got started.

But, he had a plan.  While everyone was putting their first egg in the basket, he broke out of the pack and sprinted ahead with his empty basket.

Alone at the Top

Alone at the Top

Alone at the top of the hill, he casually filled his basket, at his leisure, with no elbows to worry about.  Clever planning provided a full basket with little stress.  Yup, this kid had a plan!
