City of Fountains

Crown Center - Kansas City

Crown Center – Kansas City

In the plaza outside Crown Center Hotel in Kansas City are dancing fountains, rising and falling at different times, sometimes set to music.

A little known fact, as Cliff Claven–postman on “Cheers”– would say, is that Kansas City is the “City of Fountains”. Rome is the only city in the world that has more fountains.

It was a warm spring-like day, still winter by the calendar, and the fountains were going full blast.  The rainbow was an added bonus to the shot.

Thought for the Day:  The barking of a dog does not disturb the man on a camel.                                                                                                                                              Egyptian Proverb
