Minneapolis Icon

Walking miles through the Minneapolis Skywalk, I got to see much of the downtown area in my shirtsleeves.  It must be good for business too, as the skywalk goes right through several of the major department stores.

I thought the view of this famous Minneapolis skyscraper (can’t remember the name, but it’s the tallest building between Chicago and Denver) through the skylight made it more dramatic.  Not only is the building “framed” by the skylight, but the panels of the skylight’s glass act like cross hairs to lead the eye to the subject.

Best of all, I got to take the shot without being bothered by panhandlers on the street.

Thought for the Day:  A great city is not to be confounded with a populous one.                                                                                                                                              Aristotle
