The Datoga is one of over 100 tribes in Tanzania.  They are pastoralists who herd cattle and goats, and at one time were at war with the Maasai over grazing rights.

They live in mud huts and are known for the holes in their ears, earrings and bracelets made of copper, brass and aluminum.

Thought for the Day:  Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all of one’s lifetime.                                                                                                                                                        Mark Twain
