Sarasota at Dawn

Sarasota at Dawn

Looking across Sarasota Bay, a city park on Lido Key provided an excellent view of Sarasota’s skyline.  It was 6:15 AM.

I found this place pretty much by accident.  After reviewing several Google maps, I was actually looking for a marina in this area, but the public park provided a much better view.   A few early joggers and a dog-walker were my only company.

There is a beautiful bridge to the right of this view, but the sky was clear in that direction so I opted for the city skyline.

Thought for the Day: Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.                                                                                                                              Theodore Roosevelt
