Old Fence

Old Fence

This photo was taken along the back fence line of a lavender farm on San Juan Island.  The light on the big knot in the fence and diagonal line of red leaves is what caught my eye.

I have to admit, the title isn’t very catchy, but I’m stuck with it now.  It was “Accepted” to show in six different photography salons (contests) in India.

No awards, but the first step is to get them accepted so the judges will score them.  Similar to the Iowa State Fair, acceptances are limited to 25-30% of the entries.

Thought for the Day:  A journey of 1,000 miles begins with one step.                                                                                                                                                 Chinese Proverb
