Memorial Day, 2018

Valmont Industries

I never get tired of looking at Old Glory, but get real excited when I see her flying in various formations.

Five sets of three flag poles line each side of the drive at Valmont Industries’ Corporate Headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska.  Valmont’s center-pivot irrigation systems are sold world wide, and  these flagpoles typically fly flags of the nations where Valmont does business, which then looks like a United Nations meeting … also a spectacular sight.

But, for Memorial Day it is most appropriate to have every flag pole waving our nation’s flag.

Thought for the Day:  I like to see a man proud of the place in which he lives.  I like to see a man live so that his place will be proud of him.                         Abraham Lincoln
